You must apply in person, at the East Jefferson office in Elmwood or the West Jefferson office in Gretna, and you must bring a recorded copy of the act of sale. This copy will include the conveyance numbers (number of the book and page on which the sale is recorded at the office of conveyance); you will receive it in the mail from the notary who handled the closing.
